This one-day course is intended to provide students with a practical overview of the new and important features of Windows 11. Students can use this course as an introduction to more complex courses that deal with Entra ID and Intune, or as a foundation for the Supporting and Troubleshooting Windows 11 course.


This course is aimed at IT professionals who want to get a grounding in Windows 11 but have little hands-on experience with the operating system. Ideally, student view this course as a foundation course for others in the curriculum.  


By completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Describe the new operating system features
  • Learn about the security features in Windows 11
  • Learn to configure and manage Windows 11 devices using Intune

Module 1: Introduction to Windows 11

In this module, students learn about the new features of Windows 11. They’ll also learn about provisioning options, and get an introduction to Windows Copilot.

In this module, students learn how to use the Settings app, and Control Panel as needed. They’ll also learn about performing remote management, network settings, and device update management options.
