This five-day course provides IT professionals with the knowledge and skills required to administer a Microsoft 365 tenant. Students learn how to deploy and manage Microsoft 365, administer users and identities with Microsoft Entra ID, manage licensing and subscriptions, secure the Microsoft 365 environment using Microsoft Defender XDR, and implement compliance solutions with Microsoft Purview.
The course combines administration tasks performed through the Microsoft 365 admin center, Microsoft Entra admin center, Microsoft Defender portal and Microsoft Purview portal, together with practical PowerShell administration where appropriate.
This course is intended for IT professionals who are responsible for planning, configuring, and managing an Office 365 environment. Students who attend this course are expected to have a fairly broad understanding of several on-premises technologies such as Domain Name System (DNS) and Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). In addition, they should have a general understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
